SPA OPENING HOURS

1. The thermal suite is available to be booked by guests from 9am - 6pm

2. Treatments are available from 10am-5pm

3. The gym is accessible 24/7

SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT

To schedule an appointment for your perfect treatment, either book online or please contact a member of our Spa team who will be able to guide you to the right choice. To ensure your preferred time and service is available we recommend booking in advance. All spatreatments and spa days will need to be pre-paid at the time of booking.

SPA ATTIRE

1. We recommend guests wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes when arriving for a treatment and day spa guests will be offered a robe and footwear.

2. Hotel guests are very welcome to wear their robe and slippers from their room to the spa for a treatment or to use the Thermal Suite facilities, but we respectfully ask that robes are not worn when in the bars or restaurant.

3. We also kindly ask our guests to use the experience shower before the use of the sauna and steam room, so we guarantee maximum hygiene to all our guests.

4. Swimwear is essential when using the sauna, steam room and experience shower and guests are required to wear their own underwear for their treatment.

5. During treatment our therapists are trained to respect client modesty at all times, please inform the therapist on your preferences before the treatment.

SPA ETIQUETTE

Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquillity. Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity. In light of this, the spa is an alcohol and smoke-free zone. Please keep all mobile phones on silent mode and ensure that noise levels are kept to a minimum during conversations.

ARRIVAL TIME

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of your treatment time or the start of your day spa experience so that you have time to change if you wish, and review your Spa Consultation Questionnaire. Please be aware that a late arrival will mean a shorter/cancelled treatment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Spa treatment:

If you need to cancel your treatment booking or Thermal Suite booking, we accept cancellations up to 48 hours prior to your visit. Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a full charge.

Spa Day:

If you need to cancel your spa day package booking, we accept cancellations up to 7 days prior to your visit. In the event of a cancellation under this timeframe, we will have to charge the full amount of the booked experience.

Please understand that any late arrivals will not receive an extension for any scheduled treatments. If there is an insufficient time to complete the treatment, then the cancellation policy will apply.

GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY

1. As your safety is our main priority, we do not allow glass containers inside. We provide glasses that are safe for our spa environment.

2. We recommend no use of The Spa facilities if you have had a meal within 90 minutes prior and under no circumstances should you use the facilities if you have consumed alcohol.

3. We do not allow pets (except for registered working assistance dogs) in any of our spa facilities.

4. To protect the safety of all our spa guests, you must pay particular attention to the information provided and all signs relating to health and safety. If you do not understand a notice or sign please ask a member of The Spa team.

5. Fire exits are clearly marked throughout The Store and The Spa. If there is a fire or if you hear the fire alarm, you should make your way out of the spa through the nearest possible exit to the advertised assembly point.

6. If you suffer an accident or injury whilst, in the spa, you must report it and the circumstances under which it happened to the senior manager on duty immediately.

7. Smoking is not permitted on our premises at any time.

8. While you are at The Store and The Spa, we expect you to behave appropriately, respectfully and politely, and dress appropriately at all times. We can prevent you from entering The Spa or ask you to leave if we think that your behaviour or appearance is not suitable.

9. You should not use the facilities if you have an infectious illness or condition including but not limited to any of:

- a heart condition (heart attack, angina, irregular heartbeat or hole in the heart);

- high or low blood pressure;

- back or joint problems;

- suffer from diabetes;

- suffer from respiratory illness (asthma, bronchitis or emphysema);

- feel faint / dizzy;

- are under some medication or undergoing medical treatments for any illness;

- any serious injury or operation with the last 18 months;

- are pregnant (or have given birth in the last 3 months).

10. You should not take part in any physical activity that you may not be fit for. You are responsible for monitoring your own condition during physical activity.

11. You must stay hydrated at all times.

12. You must understand that the treatment you receive is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension. If you experience any pain or discomfort during this massage/treatment session, we advise you to immediately inform the therapist so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to your level of comfort.

13. You must further understand that a massage should not be construed as a substitute for a medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and we highly suggest for you to see a physician, chiropractor, and another qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment that you are aware of.

14. You agree to keep the therapist updated as to the changes in your medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should you fail to do so.

15. You understand that any illicit or sexually suggestive remark or advances will result in immediate termination of the session and that no refund will be offered.

16. You also understand that the massage therapist reserves the right to refuse to perform massage on anyone whom he/she deems to have a condition for which massage is contraindicated.

THERMAL SUITE

1. This area is accessible by hotel guests and non-residents on booking only. We recommend making your booking well in advance as accessibility is limited.

2. You must at all times follow the rules and guidelines displayed in The Spa and any instructions a member of The Spa team may relay.

3. You should not exceed the recommended time limit when using the sauna or steam room, and individuals with health issues that could be aggravated by their use should avoid them altogether.

4. The space is shared between male and female guests, please wear your swimsuit at all times.

5. We kindly ask you to not bring any glass containers. But we do encourage you to stay hydrated at all times using only the polycarbonate container provided in the spa.

CHILDREN’S POLICY

Sorry, but we can’t accept guest younger than 16 years old in the Thermal Suite. However, from 12 to 16 years old, 25-minute treatments are suitable with a signature and accompaniment from a parent/guardian.

LOCKERS AND VALUABLES

1. You bring all personal belongings to The Spa at your own risk. We do not accept legal responsibility for any loss or damage to these items.

2. If you leave your belongings in a locker overnight, we have the right to remove your belongings. You can claim the belongings we have removed from The Spa reception for up to 1 month after we remove them. After this time, we will not be responsible for the belongings.

HEALTH CONCERNS

When booking, please let us know of any existing medical conditions, allergies or concerns. It means that we can advise in advance if the treatment/s are unsuitable and recommend the best alternatives or tailored treatments. Our therapists reserve the right to decline to perform a treatment on the day if, for any reason, they feel it would not be in a guest’s best interests. Treatments are booked at the guests’
own risk, and the spa does not accept responsibility for allergic reactions.

PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS

You may not take photographs or video recordings within the spa without prior permission from Senior Management.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable but the treatment can be amended if the value is the same.

LOST PROPERTY

All lost property found on the premises should be handed in at Spa reception. Items will be stored for 30 days, if they are not collected within this time, they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, undergarments, and hairbrushes are kept for 24 hours only.

GYM

1. Open 24 hours exclusively to hotel guests only and accessible to spa day guests on the day of their visit.

2. Before you start using the gym or fitness equipment, we will ask you to read a health commitment statement.

CCTV

Closed circuit cameras operate throughout the premises except in the changing areas. Any unlawful activity may be reviewed for possible legal action.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our spa is accessible to everyone via our lift.

PREGNANCY

Many of our treatments can be enjoyed, or tailored specifically for you, when you are pregnant but we ask that bookings are only made for beyond the first trimester ( 12 weeks ). Please ask for more details if you have any questions or concerns.

PRICES AND TREATMENT MENU

Our therapists may change available treatments, products and prices without notice. We can promise, though, that your booked treatment and price will always be honoured, so there are no surprises.

LIABILITY

1. We will not accept liability for any damage or loss to a guest’s personal property brought into the premises.

2. All activities and treatments are taken at the guest’s own risk.

3. Neither us nor our staff shall be liable for personal injury sustained by guests whilst on the premises, except in so far as it can be proven that this relates to the wilful act, neglect or default of us, The Store & Spa or any member of staff.
